The Puppet Museum collects various kinds of puppets consisting of leather puppets, wayang golek, wayang golek, grass puppets, coconut puppets, masks, wayang golek, wayang beber and gamelan. Apart from Indonesia, this museum also has mayang from abroad. Apart from that, in the museum there is a theater where traditional wayang performances are held. Visitors can experience this enchanting art firsthand, complete with gamelan music, traditional stories, and intricate manipulation of puppets to tell ancient epics and folk tales.
Next, we will visit the Fatahillah Museum. There we will see various collections, the majority of which are relics from the Dutch people who lived in Batavia since the beginning of the 16th century, such as furniture, household items, weapons, ceramics, maps and books. After seeing the Dutch colonial heritage, we will continue our journey to the Ceramic Museum. At this tourist spot you can peek and explore various works of art, ranging from historical paintings by Indonesian masters, sketches, sculptures, to various ceramic crafts. The Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum also holds educational activities, workshops on making pottery or ceramics and firing using an oven.
And the final destination, namely the Bank Indonesia Museum, has a collection of numismatics (ancient money) from the Hindu-Buddhist kingdom, Islamic kingdom, colonial period, as well as a collection of Indonesian money from the beginning of independence until now. In this museum, visitors can also see the metamorphosis of the Bank Indonesia logo and monetary gold. Apart from that, the Bank Indonesia Museum provides a lot of information related to the world of banking in Indonesia.
